Opposites and language development
Playing with opposites with the child has many benefits. In general, the child’s cognitive skills, logical thinking and language are strengthened. When the child searches for contradictions, their vocabulary is controlled, expanded and nuanced and the ability to express themselves via language is trained.
When the child understands and can make himself understood by others, it becomes interesting for the child to use the language. And most important for language development is the use of language. The child also learns about size, perspective and adjectives when playing Bingo with opposites.
The child’s concentration, memory and turn-taking are also strengthened by playing Bingo with opposites, but remember that the game must first and foremost be a fun and playful activity – because children learn best through play and when they have fun.
