Description
Bingo and language development
Bingo with Eddie & Hannah not only provides a fun gaming experience, but the child also practices associating, as well as understanding and using the language. The motifs are specially selected in order for the caller to use more than one word to describe to the child what is on the card. In this way, the child hears more words used than if the card simply represented a tree, a cow, a house, etc. Likewise, the child himself gets used more words when it has to tell what it has on the plate after it has been given “bingo” .
The child’s concentration, memory and turn-taking are also strengthened by playing, but remember that the game must first and foremost be a fun and playful activity – because children learn best through play and when they have fun.
Enjoy!
