Memory game in play case with pictures of opposites
Here you get a lot for your money! A nice suitcase with 24 pieces made in thick cardboard, featuring pictures of well-known animals. Turn the cards over and match the opposite of the card. Being able to use and recognise opposites is a fixed part of children’s language acquisition
It’s a good idea to talk about the cards before you start. This way, everyone agrees on what the cards represent and what it takes to get a match. By doing this, the children have already gained great linguistic input.
Find contradictions like awake / sleeping or night / day. The suitcase measures 16 x 14
TIP: To get the most out of the memory game, we recommended playing with an adult and preferably with several children. One can never underestimate the value of children helping and explaining things to each other.
