Magnetic play with the home
Here you will find the home as a magnetic book. It is a beautifully designed house with lots of space that the child can furnish and give life to, using the many magnetic motifs included. There are hours to be spent and endless opportunities for play and learning here. The book contains lots of magnetic motifs that you can move around while learning languages.
All parts are stored easily and securely inside the book when not in use. It’s great to have on the go.
Recommended from 3+ years. The book measures 25 x 21 cm, and 25 x 67.5 cm when opened out.
How to play and learn with the magnet book:
We believe this material encourages a lot of play, learning and language. If you want to get the most out of these magnetic books, it’s a good idea to play with a parent or other caregiver. You can either let the child take control of the game and see what happens, Or the adult can take control and influence the game in the direction you want to practice with the child. You can, for example, play as follows:
- Increase vocabulary for words found in and around a house.
- Learning to categorise: bathroom furniture belongs in the bathroom, etc. You can also deliberately sabotage by, for example, placing the toilet in the living room and see if the child can help place the toilet in the correct room.
- Inventing or talking about stories that can unfold in the home.
The magnet book contains a lot of magnetic motifs and a lot of material for small children to get to grips with, meaning there is not enough room for all of them in the book. Therefore, we recommend that you only take a chosen number for the game and save the rest for later use. Feel free to do so before presenting the book to the child.
